Today, Robin posted this comment after reading T Paine’s “Common Sense”:

“Please clarify, are you speaking figuratively or literally when you say: ‘And organizationally there’s just him now, there’s no CMO Int, no Watchdog Committee, no Exec Strata, a neutered upper middle management and very confused organizations out in the continents.’  I really want to know. I have been off lines for some time, and this stuns me. You've got to be speaking figuratively. Wikipedia still lists those entities. Oh God, I hope so. If DM has actually physically done away with them then there truly is no hope for reform from within.”

Well, Robin this is a great question. However the reality gap is enormous!

To clarify, we mean literally, those entities DO NOT EXIST. That's why we're working so hard to sound the alarm. They only exist on paper. Let me repeat, they only exist on paper. Actually, not even that: they only exist in spoken word, i.e., DM's words during his speeches. In the physical universe, there is nothing. The buildings are there, but the Int Base consists of a skeleton crew of about 300 to 350 people mostly posted in Gold producing CDs and books.

The rest of Int management consists of a bunch of random broken down staff members who have been busted off post since the year 2000 or earlier. Sometimes they might have a post for a day or a week, by verbal order from COB. Then boom, just like that, they're off post again. Mainly he says, someone is now "WDC for Basics" or some idiocy, and that's really just for an event. So much animosity that has built up on DM's side against all the terminals of the Int base that he can't even stand to be in their space for more than a few minutes. Because of that reason, he rarely even goes to the Int base, but spends most of his time at the Freewinds, Flag, LA or somewhere else like DC (for a building opening).

DM has so many missed withholds he DESPISES all the Int execs. We aren't exaggerating when we have said over and over again that physical violence became the order of the day at the Int base. If you can image that kind of hatred, that kind of animosity, then you can image the kind of trust that accompanies that level of no affinity. You got it: zero trust.

Miscavige has zero... actually below zero trust for every single Int base exec. They have clashed so consistently and for so many years, that he 100% expects they will mess up, destroy or otherwise RUIN any project he gives them.

Couple that with the fact that he himself overtly cross orders and sabotages every project he gives them, OR else he interprets anything they do as 100% suppressive even when they do something right, and you get how hopeless the situation is.

Hence, he gives them NOTHING to do, except print CDs and books. All their comm lines are cut and have been cut for years. There is no telex lines, no phone lines, no evals, nothing coming into or out of the Int base. It is locked down and has been locked down for years.

All they produce are products for his events.

Now the reason all this went so wrong is not because the base is populated by SPs. It's because DM is an SP himself. So he is surrounded by conflict. But to bring it to a sharper point: The reason DM hates all of Int management is because they implemented his programs and orders, such as the “New Era of Management” (see New Era of Mismanagement by Outside the Box for a perspective from Flag Management of what this program meant to Scientology). All those programs and evals and orders from DM crashed Scientology. DM, being an SP, then does what SPs do: kick the cat (selects the wrong target). He should be kicking himself: it was his own crap programs and orders that destroyed Scientology, like stopping the Dianetics book campaign in 1990 because it was cutting across the Key to Life evolution when in fact it was supporting all of Scientology. It’s all idiocy.

The Int base does not operate on programs, projects, evals. There are no fixed posts above Gold. And many in Gold aren’t even fixed.  They operate on PT verbal orders only from DM’s mouth which are recorded and transcribed and issued as a “transcript” which everyone must word clear. Whatever he happens to say that day is put into effect immediately. If you don’t understand it, you have MUs (misunderstood words). If you don’t have MUs, you are “CI” (counter intention, meaning you have destructive intentions, e.g. you “want to destroy Scientology”).

Okay, here are some example: In 1998 Miscavige declared there were hundreds of hats on his plate. He set up a huge wall with baseball hats and on every hat was embroidered someone’s hat he had on his plate. I had just taken over the post as Scriptwriting I/C and I was one of the few to get their hats back. No one else ever did. That was just a minor story in the scheme of thing, but now let that situation rot and fester for another 8 years.

In 2006 DM took a walk through RTC. RTC was never a large org to begin with. In one day he busted 18 people out of RTC including Claire Headley and sent them down to expedite in CMO Int. There is not “RTC” staff (or maybe only a couple) at Int; just “COB’s Office.” RTC still has their RTC Reps probably, but those people just do what DM tells them to do (terrorize the lower orgs and push Tech out with DM’s squirrel programs like redefining instant read and F/N).

But “CMO Int” just consists entirely of a mob of people none of whom have any posts. They’re all expeditors.

When was the last time you heard of any Exec Ints doing anything? You didn’t because there aren’t any real Exec Ints on post. Ronnie Miscavige blew in 2000. He was one of the last and even he was not really qualified to head up marketing. Ronnie would have done much better had his brother (David) not constantly cross ordered, bypassed, uprooted, taken off post, and micro-managed marketing straight into the ground.

Also that year (2006) DM said that HCO and Qual Gold weren’t accomplishing anything. The only ones who accomplished anything that DM wanted was Cine and Audio. So immediately everyone in Qual and HCO Gold were reposted into Cine. Sue Turton, who has been an MAA in Gold since 1989, became a video editor. That’s what she does not. Others were reposted in Sets and Props, or in Audio.

Most all the movers and shakers left. There was a huge exodus from the Int Base. Mike Rinder is out. Zillions of people are out.

People who send reports to “Reports Off RTC” -- there hasn’t been anyone on that post for years. That’s why no one answers. Instead the reports go into a electronic format that DM can see. He uses it as intelligence so he knows who to target -- anyone criticizing his programs.

That is the state of the nation as best I know.

Nothing is going to happen from within. Nothing. It’s a matter of bringing to bear public pressure from outside the Church to force a reformation and end DM’s long history of criminality, barbarity and toxic programs.

David Miscavige has enlisted three of his long-time partners in crime, Marion Pouw, Mike Sutter and Hansuli Stahli. If you’ve read about some of David Miscavige’s criminal activities, you’ve probably seen their names. Each one of them is an expert at justifying anything Miscavige orders, no matter how criminal. In fact, they’re so good at this kind of justification, so fast, it has become a substitute for having their own viewpoint. And when a person has lost their own viewpoint they can no longer as-is anything. So, they survive, machine-like, according to aberrated computations like "David Miscavige is always right" or "Nothing matters but expansion." Hence the term robot.

Whereas the purpose of Scientology is to bring a person up to the point he or she is capable of having his or her own viewpoint, “always observing to observe,” these people have honed the ability of seeing everything through the viewpoint of Miscavige. They never question anything he orders, they never see any shades of gray or gradients of right or wrong. They only see in stark black and white: anything Miscavige orders is white, is right. ANYONE who stands in his way is dark, is wrong.

If you have ever met any of them, chances are the words “condescending,” “arrogant” and “out of valence” will bring a smile to your lips. Who else would want to be a Miscavige crony?

These are some of the RTC staff who are willing to accept grossly inflated bonuses and pay for years to make David Miscavige’s weekly take of parishioner booty seem less excessive in the eyes of the IRS. They are Sea Org members BOUGHT and SOLD... weaned on a steady diet of favors, gifts, travel, nights out at the movies, ski trips and cash -- all based on false stats. RTC’s stats are based on property value. So they hire someone who does nothing but tour property full time and illegally inflate property value. Thus RTC’s stats are always up as long as the buildings look good! Who cares about the staff or actual Scientologists.

You’re going to hear more about their betrayals and abuses of public trust.

But suffice it to say, these are junkies so hooked on lies they can’t stop suckling the teat even though they swallow the blood of Scientology parishioners, i.e., YOUR money. Personally, I thought that money was supposed to go to bringing more people into the religion. But with all DM’s crimes, all the money in the world won’t bring people in. Meanwhile, most of the money is wasted on real estate to keep RTC’s stats up so the fat keep getting fatter with more bonuses and rewards.

Good for the soul

Expect the patient to howl and squirm. The medicine is bitter but lord it's needed. And what is that medicine? Ethics; transparency; accountability.

We haven’t spread any lies that I know of. We have exposed many crimes, however.

If there had been no flagrant criminality, no shocking abuses, no financial irregularities, no human rights violations, none of this would even be happening.

We aren't damaging Scientology. Those who committed the crimes are responsible for that. Did David Miscavige think he could commit all manner of crimes and never be held accountable for that? How arrogant.

Years ago, I wrote a slogan for film called, "The Married Couple": Can honesty restore what secrets destroyed?

I say yes. What about you?

When the St Pete Times came out with the first three articles on the Church of Scientology, The Truth Rundown, David Miscavige's answer (through cursing mouthpiece Tommy Davis) was that these four whistle blowers were simply isolated lunatics. So the St Pete Times rapidly produced eleven more senior executives from the highest ranks of the Church who's stories ALL corroborated the first group. The Church's response to that bit of shame was to say no one was ever kept captive at the Int base: all were free to leave any time they wanted. The St Pete Times answered that lie with the most recent series, detailing the stories of even MORE whistle blowers -- hounded, chased, spied upon, held prisoner, subjected to dirty tricks and more.

What these stories have revealed is not minor "criticism" but serious abuse and crimes punishable by law, felonies in some cases, violations of fundamental human and civil rights of the worst order. The St Pete Times has said nothing about the religion itself; the newspaper isn't attacking the religion.

The very fact that a few pathetic scarecrows calling themselves Scientologists continue to try and brush these kinds of crimes under the rug just serves to separate out the wholly irresponsible and the gleefully insane from the rest of us. Since these human failures have failed to figure it out, here it is again:

You don't sweep crime under the rug! You don’t "dismiss" a felony. Good deeds on one hand don’t make crimes by the other okay.

I remember several years ago when lurid accounts of child abuse by certain Catholic priests were revealed along with a decades-long cover up. I didn’t see a bunch of Catholics trying to pull the red herring, “Stop attacking my religion” or like Tommy Davis classic wrong answer to charges of horrid crime, "Stop whining."

In David Miscavige and his miscreant minions, we are exposing someone who is not only morally reprehensible, but entirely without scruples. If Scientologists with the Miscavige “M” on their forehead turn a blind eye on that, perhaps it’s because in 25 years under the shadow of Miscavige they’ve simply grown used to the DARK.

Thousands of Scientologists have thrown off their chains... you know, the ones with the little "DM" on each link? But some wonder what will happen if they publicly declare their independence? Will OSA try to do anything to them?

OSA is a bit short handed. Dozens of ex-staff from the Int Base including Scientology's top two lieutenants have taken off the gloves and gone on the record about abuses by David Miscavige at the Int Base covering real crimes such as assault, blackmail, extortion, human trafficking, forced abortions, you name it. Tom Tobin and Joe Childs of the Saint Petersburg Times exposed more criminality with their massive 4-part blockbuster entitled "The Truth Rundown" with evidence it was David Miscavige's own off-line orders to the Flag C/S that resulted in the death of Lisa McPherson. Church staff in France were just convicted of fraud and people are going to prison. Tommy Davis, untrained, unstable and over his head, just blew another national TV interview in the worst way with Martin Bashir on ABC's Nightline. A new book is coming out that exposes Miscavige in shocking detail. Academy Award winning filmmaker and Scientologist Paul Haggis just resigned from the Church. OT VIII, Geir Isene resigned from Miscavology along with many others. They've also got lawsuits over non-payment of wages and human trafficking. And so much more.

OSA has neither the time nor the resources to stop this avalanche. And of course, the real avalanche hasn't even hit them yet. 

All I can say is hell hath no fury like a planet scorned.

Funky Town

Since most of the competent people left OSA long ago, leaving only Miscavige flim-flam artist and loose cannon, Tommy Davis, to prop up David Miscavige's broken-down empire, what you can expect is to be visited by a certain number of fools. OSA gets accomplices (people who have ignored you for years, but suddenly get friendly) to sidle up next to you. And suddenly you're hearing from someone who has a story "just like yours" or as near as OSA can cook it up. For example, if you sent someone into a Church and the person was mishandled, they will tell you the same story happened to them and express some consternation about it. If the IAS regs forced you into debt and took all your savings and retirement and now you are upset about it, what do you know, the same thing happened to them. Or if your daughter joined the Sea Org, didn't like it and left and now she's declared a suppressive person and you were told you must disconnect, what a coincidence! The same thing happened to them!

This sort of funky, contrived reality is called "getting on your good side."

Actually it's a two step process. Step one is to offer some strange excuse for contacting you out of the blue. Wolfie Frank (ex-SO and well-known OSA informant in the LA area) called me to say he was going to be headed down to Texas and might like to come and say hello while in the neighborhood. I said, "Oh, what are you coming to Texas for?" He said, "Oh, one of my best clients is a company down in McAllen, Texas. I've been working with them and may need to visit them." I said, "Oh, I have friends in McAllen. What is the name of the company?" Wolfie said, "Huh... um... actually, that's a good question. Let's see, what is their name? I usually just call the guy, so I... I, huh, don't know the name of the company. I think it was like... a guy's name or something..."

Needless to say he never made any trip down to Texas to a company that doesn't exist.

Love Bombs Away!

Man, if there's anything I love it's retro stuff. You too? One couple who have ignored me for years called because they just wanted to flow me some "LOVE." Woo-hoo, suddenly '60s peace symbols and love beads were swirling around my head. The gushing Love Bombers said, "Well, (forced laughter)... I've just decided to (forced laughter) LOVE everyone... (forced laughter) life's too short to get involved in mud slinging! (forced laughter)."  (Forced laughter is 1.1 per Science of Survival).

Mud slinging? Who was talking about mud slinging? See, you get these little non-sequitur bits on the ends of strings. (You're not supposed to notice).

This love bomb approach is to "set a good example" (I guess assuming that they are role models for me) "We just love everyone! (forced laughter) Gosh, there's so much negativity, we're totally into the positive! We're not into protests or anything (forced laughter)."

"Protests"? Who said anything about protests? I told them I'm not protesting. I'm blowing the whistle on rampant criminality and abuses within the church. I'm not a "protester" I'm a "whistle blower" there's a big difference. 

Re-Purposing You

What they are really trying to do is little by little, divert you away from what you're doing onto something else. Always with little indirect hints and suggestions. But if you know anything about the tone scale, picking these off is like shooting a target taped to the end of your gun.

Another ploy is the "confused" approach whereby the person acts confused by "everything going on" and then announces happily, "Well, I'm just going to concentrate on building up my business. I want to make a lot of MONEY! Life's too short..." Here's an actual example from... yesterday: "My own certainty of LRH is rock solid, but frankly, I'm not certain what to do, so I've just decided to end cycle and go on with my business building and living life!" I'm supposed to take a hint and just "end cycle."

Then there is the "confused, needs some of your help" reason for someone calling who otherwise never speaks to you at all. "My firm is thinking of hiring someone and since you know all about it I wanted to get some advice..."  They proceed to ask you a question or two that any 4-year old could answer himself by just typing in the question on Google. At that point you realize what they're doing... wait for it... wait for it... (you know it's coming). Abruptly the conversation shifts onto re-purposing you. Feel free to yell, "BINGO!"

If your confront is really up, you can recognize these people by their earmarks of,

• Complete irresponsibility
• Glee of insanity

If they were a movie, they'd be rated "K" for kook.

Here's an actual email received today. This is five days after Paul Haggis's resignation letter hit the media, while scientology-cult.com had 485 visitors online reading Paul Haggis's letter:

"Hey guys, Great job with everything thus far! Getting DM out and LRH back in is the way to go! A lot is happening right now. The Today Show just did a segment on Scn. Any chance you can update your home page content to include this? Believe it or not, the Paul Haggis thing is already ancient history in this fast-paced, high-tech world. I'd like to be able to send more and more of my Scn friends to your site, and keeping the content fresh on a daily basis is vital now that we LRH purists are rising quickly in power. Keep up the great work! Bryan"

LRH said criminals are stupid. This last letter really proves it. Paul Haggis... ancient history? Hum, seems like I know of 485 visitors online this very moment who would disagree.

Anti Re-Purposing Spray

So to recap, OSA's re-purposing program goes like this:

1) Loony excuse for someone to call you who has ignored you for years.

• Emulating your own story or experiences
• Love Bombs away!
• Just happened to be in the neighborhood
• Confused about everything
• Needs business or technical advice (but not really)

2) Small talk followed by attempt to re-purpose you by

• Setting a "good" (horrible) example
• Friendly advice
• Adopting a stable datum 
• Acting as a role model (pleeease!)

Re-Purposing OSA

Since they do it to others, they are susceptible to it. So I'm going to re-purpose the OSA staff reading this:

The world is trying to tell you something and you should listen. Look beyond any fixed ideas and realize there is a world out there that you are a part of. It is your own 4th dynamic. That 4th dynamic is telling you in so many ways that you as a Scientologist and group member are out ethics. Instead of wearing your hat to get in ethics, Miscavige has perverted your purpose to stopping people who are trying to get in ethics on him. That isn't the purpose LRH gave you. You aren't investigating allegations of crimes because you think "Critics always attack when we start to expand." Well, LRH never counted expansion in terms of real estate funded through illegal donations. The fact is Scientology is shrinking. The Church is being attacked because it is off purpose. Staff have been made into IAS regs, yet LRH forbid straight donations. He had a label for it: criminal exchange. 

You personally are not only letting Scientology go down the tubes on your watch, you are trying (and failing) to prevent more ethical people from doing something about it. You've sunk down to the level of an inept secret police for David Miscavige.

Look past your fixed ideas and just look, look, look. Don't think, look.

You personally can be a part of the solution. Collect evidence of crimes and come forward while you still can. You aren't going to destroy Scientology by doing so, on the contrary supporting a criminal regime is destroying Scientology. Since when does improving conditions start with lying? Since when is extortion, abortions, human trafficking, and endless sleep deprivation part of the road out? The way out isn't to negate, deny, not-is, or avoid. The way out is the way through, and if that means coming clean organizationally, then that IS what we have to do.

Doing so may mean the difference between regaining your personal integrity and going to prison. Stop being a victim and take responsibility for yourself.
