Mitch Brisker and Jeffrey Augustine interview ex-Scientologist and actor Larry Anderson. When he was in Scientology, Larry was personally selected by Church leader David Miscavige to be the lead in the film "Orientation." The treatment for the film was written by L. Ron Hubbard and it was Director Mitch Brisker's task to get it onto film. David Miscavige personally supervised every detail of the film and worked very closely with Mitch doing so. In the film, Larry walks viewers through a Scientology Org, talks to various Sea Org members, and describes why Scientology is a religion. The climax of the film occurs when Larry utters the infamous words that you can choose not to join Scientology and you also jump off a bridge or blow your brains out. The film is required viewing before anyone can do any services the Church of Scientology and Jeffrey Augustine explains. After viewing the film, a person who wants to do anything further with Scientology must sign a contract attesting that they have seen the film and agree that Scientology is a religion. The contract is on the Scientology Money Project along with the three other intake contracts Scientology requires new members to sign. |
